that's pretty much what i've been doing...3 weeks until recital! and i'm a officially a swan in the Four Little Swans dance....wow now i'm in one more dance than Genna! I am really liking ballet, and i'm so glad that i started again! And i love dancing on my pointe shoes....such fun.
Arielle bought some musicals and "Hello, Dolly!" is one of the ones she got! It is sooooooo funny!
"Holy Cabooses!" ~Barnaby from Hello, Dolly!
oooh i learned how to knit.....i'm making a pot holder...
I like this icon......it's so true...

anyway.....i'm updating this for Arielle because she wanted me to, but i really don't have much else to say..

| lalala.....it was cold in English class today.............i'm glad it is sunny and warm out...but i'm also glad it isn't too hot yet......*sings too darn hot...* *stops singing almost immediately*
i was so excited at ballet yesterday because i got to try to do my solo in my pointe shoes! it was fun...but i probably looked a little silly....i hope i get to practice it like that more often and it would be cool if i got to do it on pointe at the recital....hmmm well we'll see.....
we are going to Corpus Christi for the weekend to visit Grandma and Grandpa there. that should be kinda fun. i'm looking forward to the car ride....i love taking trips! especially when we listen to music on the way.
i need a new layout but i'm too lazy to find or make one...
hmm not much else going on that i can think of............
this is kind of a lame update........haha oh well.. | | |
| I am so happy! I got an A+ on my response essay in English! And the teacher told me that it was the highest grade on a response essay that she had given in over 2 semesters! Yes! go me!
I'd rather not talk about math though..................................
I am finally sewing something again! It is a full-skirted summer dress. here's the pic of the pattern from 1979

i'm making it out of some forest green and white calico. so far so good - the front went together easily.
I guess i will be in one more dance at the ballet recital. I was told to come on Thursday for pointe, but now i'm in the dance for that class. It should be interesting........about 5 of us on pointe and then a bunch of 6-7 year olds dancing in mix-matched cotumes.......haha.......oh well.
ok, i'm gonna go have some supper now.
cheerio!
